History and Training
My experience as a trainer began in a "No Kill Shelter" (Unleashed Pet Rescue under trainer Rob Masters) that took in every imaginable breed and temperament of dog. As trainers we worked tirelessly to address behavioral issues with the dogs in the shelter to ensure the individuals adopting them weren't going to bring them back for difficult behaviors. This exposure to a wide variety dog breeds with various behavioral challenges provided me with invaluable experience that I would later take in to the private sector.
Several years later, I had the privilege to work and study under master trainer David Harris, owner of the world renowned company Protection Dog Sales (PDS). At PDS I was exposed to high end pure bred working dogs for the first time and during that time I raised and trained numerous German Shepherds for PDS under the tutelage of David Harris.
